Use in following situations there cannot according to The Danish Working Envirenonment Authorithy be used short time masks and/or respiratory protection for filter use.
• When the airs contents of oxygen is less than 17 volume percent.
• When the user uses short time masks or respiratory protection for filter use more than three (3) hours daily.
• Work with solvents with a boiling point below 65° centigrade. However a filtering mask may be used provided that the manufacturer can show an approval of the current substance. (AX filter).
By the three conditions mentioned there has to be used pressurized air supplied respiratory protection.
Filtering respiratory protection with a turbo engine unit. Is chosen when the work time exceeds 3 hours daily, and it is allowed to use filtering respiratory protection.
Air supplied respiratory protection (compressed air): Is chosen when there is a lack of oxygen, (under 17 volume percent) Pollution in very high concentrations. The work stretches over 3 hours.
Unknown concentration or composition. Where it is not allowed to use filters. Where filtering respiratory protection with turbo engine unit is not to be used.
