The company A/S Niels Stennevad was founded in 1960. During the first years the company sold rust paint, paintbrushes and technical articles. In 1970 the company started selling working gloves. Partly Danish produced, but also imported from the Far East.

In 1980 it was decided to develop a new line of models of working and welding gloves. This decision meant that A/S Niels Stennevad over a number of years became one of the leading sellers of gloves on the Danish market. Our partner is Force Certification. It is their guarantee of quality, testing and try-outs according to current EU standards. At the same time the company started selling personal safety products.

Assortment both gloves and safety products is adjusted all the time.

In 1999 a generational change was carried through. Management bought all shares in A/S Niels Stennevad.

It is decided to enlarge the assortment considerably, continuously with gloves and personal safety products, but especially within fall protection, where the company started with permanent installations. Moreover a department for technical complicated safety equipment is made.(Garbs, measurement etc.)

In 2006 the company changes its name to Stennevad A/S.
It has obtained a strong market position by virtue of skilled and experienced co-workers, knowledge and competence.
